Great Plains Manufacturing will be offering more than a look at machinery on its booth for Agritechnica in 2013. At Stand B02 in Hall 12 Great Plains will also stress our “Vertical Tillage” concept, which highlights the importance of avoiding causing compacted layers in the soil because they inhibit all the natural processes that help feed the crop. The Great Plains “Vertical Tillage” approach can help break down the barriers to increased yields!
Displays conveying our agronomic principles will be coupled with eight different machinery units on stand: DTX300, X-Press, SL400, Turbo-Max, Series 4B, Centurion, YPE-825A and YP-1625AHD. The product is a mix of UK and USA manufactured equipment and the tillage group represents the vertical tillage philosophy and the new line of UK model entry level units. The Series 4B is a massive disc harrow certain to draw curiosity.
Both Yield-Pro® Planters are brand new machines that are capable of twin-row planting, another Great Plains philosophy aimed at increasing yield. The YPE-825A folds to 3m for transport especially for the Western European market. The YP-1625AHD offers seed placement precision along with the ability to place bulk liquid or dry fertilizer.
