Lister Cultivator Transport

SALINA, KS – In response to growing customer demand for a price-competitive alternative to the competition, Great Plains is introducing its new LC40 Lister Cultivator model this spring. The LC40 Lister Cultivator is built in the spirit of other Great Plains equipment with a focus on innovation, functionality, and toughness.

The LC40 Lister Cultivator combines a stack-fold toolbar with versatile parallel linkage row units. The parallel linkage and depth band coulters allow for precise depth gauging on individual rows. The row units can be configured to 30", 36", 38", and 40" row spacings. Users can configure it as a lister or turn it into a row crop cultivator with rear sweeps.

Great Plains is offering the option of auto-reset protection of the deep working legs on its Simba DTX one pass cultivator, a move that also creates the opportunity for users to fit the company’s LD (low surface disturbance) legs on the machine.

The company is also offering a trailing kit for the machine, which will transform it from a mounted to a trailed machine and enable it to be towed behind tractors of 180hp + for the DTX 300, and 220hp + for the DTX350.

Great Plains is adding three new style rollers to the range of consolidation products it offers, initially behind its mounted Simba X-Press and TL cultivators.

The company is introducing the rollers behind its DTX models, and is developing versions for use with the trailed versions of these models.

The new models are both rigid machines, and both feature five ProLift deeper working legs, those on the 3.0m model being set at 560mm spacings, while those on the 3.5m model being set at 660mm spacings.

Download Press Release:

Great Plains’ Simba X-Press cultivator is already firmly established as a popular one-pass cultivator across a range of European markets, including France.

The range includes models ranging from 2.5m to 10m working width, and combine cultivating discs with a DD rear roller, so virtually any size of arable farm can use it to perform fast, one-pass shallow cultivations up to 100mm deep followed by effective consolidation.
