Great Plains’ popular 8000 Series Field Cultivator has been redesigned for the European market with an 8m working width capable of 3m transport. The new FCC8308N will be produced in Great Plains’ Sleaford production plant and will include a full European lighting kit, tyre option, walking axle units, hydraulics, metric fasteners, and brake option kit. The European model utilizes the same MAX-MIX™ shank pattern as its American counterpart, resulting in an effective 18cm shank spacing from front to rear.
25' & 40' Hipper/Bedder
The Great Plains Hipper/Bedder, a variation of the Lister Cultivator, is designed to endure the heavy soils of the Delta, creating beds with rolling blades rather than lister bottoms.
Built on our Lister Cultivator’s robust, time-proven frame, Hipper/Bedder is ideal for working in heavy, sticky soils where listers are unable to properly roll soil. The triple-bar ladder frame system in the center section, along with the double-plated, boxed front and rear hinge points on the folding wings, enhance the machine’s durability.

Drill with minimal disturbance, into heavy residue and cover crop
The Saxon CDA Drill is a unique, low disturbance cultivator drill developed for the latest establishment techniques.
The Saxon mirrors the looks of Great Plains’ Centurion cultivator drill and shares all of its key features around seed delivery, seed placement and consolidation. However, the Saxon differs from its sister drill in one key area.
Next Generation Features
Built around tried and tested components and technologies such as the well-proven zone cultivation design of Great Plains’ 07 Series opener, the new Spartan incorporates a wide range of new and improved features.
Perhaps the most significant change to the Spartan is a complete rework of the drill’s seed tower configuration based on the design platform established with the company’s Centurion cultivator drill. The new patented system utilizes half the number of towers and all of them are mounted on the center section.
Next Generation Spartan
The SpartanII range is the next generation of Spartans incorporating new and improved features further increasing the productivity and versatility of this well-proven direct drilling solution.
Initially available in working widths of 6-meters (SpartanII 607) and 9-meters (SpartanII 907), these models will be joined by 8-meter, 10-meter and 12-meter variants to complete an extensive and versatile range offering a choice of 150mm or 187mm row spacings.
