Every farming operation has diverse needs, and Great Plains has cultivators to meet all those needs. We have focused our cultivator line around dependability and unconventional features that make our products stand out from the competition.
Ultra-Chisel™ removes density layers in the top 8" (20cm) of soil, while mixing residue at the surface to reduce wind erosion and improve water infiltration.
The LC40 Lister Cultivator is built in the spirit of other Great Plains equipment with a focus on innovation, functionality, and toughness.
The LC40 Lister Cultivator combines a stack-fold toolbar with versatile parallel linkage row units. The parallel linkage and depth band coulters allow for precise depth gauging on individual rows. The row units can be configured to 30", 36", 38", and 40" row spacings. Users can configure it as a lister or turn it into a row-crop cultivator with rear sweeps.
The innovative Great Plains Short Disk™ combines European-style parallel gangs with the demands of rugged North American terrain to provide a consistent, high-speed primary tillage tool. While traditional short disks utilize 18-20" diameter disc blades, the aggressive Short Disk is designed to endure high-residue field conditions with 24" diameter discs to cut the ground up to 7" deep, maximizing trash flow and leaving a smooth finish on both the top and bottom.
Great Plains has raised the bar with the introduction of the 8000 Disc-O-Vator Narrow line of four models specifically designed for narrow transport needs and can be purchased in 15' to 24' versions. Seven-inch shank spacing with 9" sweeps ensure good cutout.
Versatile Tillage Tool
Great Plains "raised the bar" with the introduction of the 8000 Disc-O-Vator line comprised of 13 models in working widths from 15' to 52'. Four models are specifically designed for narrow transport needs and can be purchased in 15' to 24' versions. Seven-inch shank spacing with 9" sweeps ensure good cutout.
Reinventing the Wheel
In response to customer feedback and continued market demand for quality conventional tillage implements, Great Plains announces the new and improved 7000 Series Disk Harrow. After enduring intense field tests over several tillage seasons, the new 7000 Series Disk is ready to take on all contenders in the highly-competitive disk harrow market.
Like its predecessor, the 7000 Series Disk Harrow delivers the reliability and performance Great Plains customers have come to expect. Its double offset gang configuration remains one of the most
Several changes and enhancements were made to the 8000 Series Field Cultivator to make a good unit even better!
Narrow Transport Field Cultivator
Great Plains’ popular 8000 Series Field Cultivator has been redesigned for the European market with an 8m working width capable of 3m transport. The new FCC8308N will be produced in Great Plains’ Sleaford production plant and will include a full European lighting kit, tyre option, walking axle units, hydraulics, metric fasteners, and brake option kit. The European model utilizes the same MAX-MIX™ shank pattern as its American counterpart, resulting in an effective 18cm shank spacing from front to rear.
Heavy-Duty Flex Harrow
The Great Plains Heavy-Duty Flex Harrow is the toughest finishing tool on the market!
25' & 40' Hipper/Bedder
The Great Plains Hipper/Bedder, a variation of the Lister Cultivator, is designed to endure the heavy soils of the Delta, creating beds with rolling blades rather than lister bottoms.
Built on our Lister Cultivator’s robust, time-proven frame, Hipper/Bedder is ideal for working in heavy, sticky soils where listers are unable to properly roll soil. The triple-bar ladder frame system in the center section, along with the double-plated, boxed front and rear hinge points on the folding wings, enhance the machine’s durability.
